@gent

Privacy

@gent runs on your computer. Your repositories, mail credentials and agent sign-ins stay there. This page lists what does leave it.

Where your tasks go

Task text, attachments and results travel through your own Gmail account and the agent provider you choose. Compound Labs runs no server in that path and never sees your mail.

The runner keeps prompts, attachments, approvals and results in a private state folder beside your config. It does not delete them on its own.

What the CLI sends

The CLI sends anonymous counts to PostHog. The counts are first run, setup started and completed, Gmail checked, runner started, first task started and completed, and broad failure types.

It never sends email addresses, task text, file paths, agent output or credentials. A random ID is stored in state/analytics.json beside your config. IP location and person profiles are off.

To turn the counts off, set this before you run any command:

export ATGENT_TELEMETRY=off

DO_NOT_TRACK=1 also turns them off. CI runs are never counted.

What this website collects

atgent.dev counts page views, scroll depth, the sections you see, and clicks on Copy and PyPI. Session replay, heatmaps and form capture are off. Query strings are removed from page addresses, except campaign tags.

The site respects Do Not Track in your browser.
